Hi, I’m Dev, a freelance web developer in Kolkata

You quote it. We build it.

Websites that work as well as they look. Fixed price, live in 1–5 working days. First 5 clients get launch pricing.

I build fast, accessible websites for clinics, cafés, showrooms and studios. Every site ships with automated tests, an accessibility check and a speed check before you see it.

Experienced developer. New to freelancing. You work with me directly, from the first call to launch.

About me

I’m Dev, a freelance web developer in Kolkata. I build websites for small businesses, and I’d rather they just work than look clever.

Every site I ship has automated tests, an accessibility check and a speed check before you see it. The scores and test counts for my demos are on the cards above.

I'm new to freelancing, and I'd rather say so than invent a history. The sites above are concept projects I built to show my work. When you hire me, you get careful work, a clear price and one person who answers.

I work with clinics, cafés, showrooms and small local businesses, and I'm happy to explain anything in plain language.

First 5 clients get launch pricing

In return for honest feedback, permission to show your site and two introductions. Applies to the Simple site.

I'm starting out as a freelancer, and I'd like my first 5 clients to become my references. A launch offer, not a cut-down site: the same quality, checks and fixes as the regular Simple site.

In return, I ask for

  • Your honest feedback: a short testimonial I may quote, with your name and business
  • Permission to show your site in my portfolio
  • Two introductions to other business owners

50% advance, the rest before go-live. Delivered in 1–3 working days after I have your content.

Questions

How much does a website cost?

It depends on what you need and what you can spend. Tell me your budget and I'll say what it can build; you get a fixed quote after a short call, so there are no surprise bills. My first 5 clients get launch pricing, in return for honest feedback (a short testimonial), permission to show the site and two introductions.

How long does it take?

1–3 working days for a simple site, 1–3 weeks for larger ones, set in your quote. The clock starts when I have your content and the advance payment.

Who owns the website?

You do. Once you've paid in full, the domain, content and site code are yours.

Who handles hosting and the domain?

I set both up in your name, so you're never locked in. Domain and paid hosting, if needed, are charged separately, at cost.

What if I want changes later?

Small edits are covered by a Care plan. Bigger changes I quote first, before any work starts.

Do you charge GST, and how do I pay?

I'm not GST-registered, so no GST is added to quotes. You pay by bank transfer or UPI; the payment schedule is agreed in your quote.
